Entry test registrations start at UET for admission

University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has started entry test (ECAT-22) registration for admission in BSc Engineering and BSc Engineering Technology programs across Punjab.

Entry test tokens for registration are available online and at the designated branches of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) on payment of Rs. 1500 / -. The last date for receipt of tokens is 30th June 2022.

The last date for online data entry and admission card printing is June 30. The final test will be taken on July 18-22. The experimental test will be held on July 15 and 16. The results of the entrance test will be announced on July 28.

All Pakistani students who have passed or are about to take the Intermediate / higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) exams will be allowed to sit in ECAT. However, candidates who do not appear in the UET entrance test will not be eligible for admission in the undergraduate programs of any government engineering institution. To avoid any hassle due to limited seats, students should purchase tokens and complete the registration process as soon as possible so that their seats are reserved.

Online Registration for UET Combined Entry Test

A combined entry test for admissions in B.Sc. Engineering and B.Sc. Engineering Technology in UET Lahore, its constituent campuses, and all government engineering institutes across Punjab, are scheduled to be held on Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th of June, 2020 in the test centers allotted by the Virtual University. The online registration process, for the combined entry test for admission to UET, will end on the first of June, 2020.

Entry Test tokens are available on the designated HBL branches on payment of Rs. 1200/- till June 01, 2020. The last date for printing of admission cards is 02 June 2020. A Mock test to guide the candidates on attempting computer-based tests will also be conducted on Saturday and Sunday 6th and 7th of June, 2020 in the assigned Virtual University Centers at the allotted time. However, the final test will be conducted on June 13 and 14, 2020.

Similarly, the results of the entry test will be declared on June 15, 2020 (Midnight) and will be available on the web portal. Students can get all the information related to the entrance test from the UET Lahore website.

Candidates may use computer and printer facility in computer laboratories made available by UET Lahore campus, UET Taxila, Engineering College Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan, Engineering College Islamia University Bahawalpur, University of Gujrat and Fatima Jinnah Women University (for ladies only) Rawalpindi from May 6 to June 01, 2020 between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with a break for prayer during working days.
