The Malala Yousafzai Scholarship Act is finally getting the support it needs from the US Congress.  The Act was introduced by two representatives of the House, Hakeem Jeffries and Ann Wagner to the House Foreign Affairs Committee on September 26, 2019,  to increase  gender equality in education for the benefit of Pakistani females.

Sturgeon Announces £400,000 Scholarships For Disadvantaged Women in Pakistan

Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has announced to sponsor underprivileged and disadvantaged women in Pakistan to fulfil their education endeavours. Inspired by education campaigner Malala Yousafzai, this £400,000 funding announcement by Sturgeon will now allow disadvantaged women to avail scholarships for secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
