Baba Guru Nanak International University To Be Set Up In Nankana Sahib

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is planning to set up Baba Guru Nanak International University in Nankana Sahib in order to portray a “softer image” of Pakistan to the world. The university that will be set up in collaboration with Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) is estimated to cost Rs 1,000 million.

HEC Plays Host To 1st National Forum on Philanthropy

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan hosted the 1st National Forum on Philanthropy at the Commission Secretariat in Islamabad in collaboration with Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) and Global Donors Forum (GDF) on Tuesday. “Conventional to Strategic: A New Paradigm in Giving” was the main theme of the forum, which was held with an aim of celebrating the achievements and improvements of PCP operations since 2001.
