SEF signs MoU with Cadet Colleges for SSESP expansion

Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) Sindh Education Literacy Program and renowned Cadet Colleges of Sindh sign MoU for the expansion of scholarship program through Sindh School Education Scholarship Program (SSESP).

The MoU was signed at private venue by Mr Kabir Kazi MD-SEF, Board of Governance-SEF, Secretary Colleges-GoS, Principals of Cadet Colleges BoG-SEF, Chief-Secretary of Government of Sindh. The MoU indicates broad guidelines for post-primary scholarship of meritorious students through Five Cadet Colleges including Bakhtawar Cadet College-Shaheed Benazirabad, Boys Cadet College-Larkana, Boys Cadet College-Khairpur, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto College- Larkana, Boys Cadet College Sanghar.

The Memorandum of Understanding has been signed as part of Sindh School Education Scholarship Program to grant scholarship opportunities to meritorious students by linking them to Prestigious Schools and Colleges. Around 4000, students have been given access to boarding & lodging, tuition fees, admission fees, monthly stipend, bare necessities and transportation through scholarship coverage.

The collaboration with Cadet Colleges began with Letter of Intent (LoI) signed in the year 2021 for creating scholarship opportunities for 142 meritorious students for current year and 62 for selected students for upcoming fiscal year. The guiding principle of Letter of Intent is embedded in MoU that aims to manage scholarship systematically by defining liability, obligation and responsibility of each partner. Whereas, the Board of SEF has approved the provision of 100 seats per year for admission of bona fide students and SELD.

During the MoU signing ceremony Mr Kabir Kazi reiterated the importance of SSESP towards the promotion of quality education by highlighting the role of SEF for extending financial and technical assistance to talented students.

The MoU signing ceremony was concluded with the thanking note from Honorable Kabir Kazi-MD, SEF.
