Sindh police used water cannons, baton charge and tear gassed protesting teachers to avert them from moving towards Chief Minister House, in a bid to lodge their complaints and convey their demands, on Thursday. These protesting teachers were calling for promotions on the basis of time-scale formula, demanding the government to introduce reforms in the management cadre.
