Professor Dr Atta-ur-Rehman, the former chairman HEC, while receiving People’s Republic of China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award in recognition of contributions along with other experts in Beijing said, Pakistan should send more students to China for learning advance technology.
Ministry of Science and Technology will set up Agriculture Technology Taskforce that will be led by University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice-Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf, said Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, on Saturday. While chairing a meeting of the UAF deans and directors at the Syndicate Room, UAF he said, the aim of the task force is to strengthen academia-industry and farmers’ linkages, reduce agricultural import bill and address different agriculture issues.
