Universities in the United States have swept The Economist 2019 Top MBA Programmes rankings, claiming eight of the top 10 spots in the list.
The annual Academic Ranking of World Universities, commonly known as the Shanghai ranking, has seen China and US make the most gains in the 2018 list, however, Harvard University retained the top spot for the 16th year running. China saw six new universities make their way into the top 500 in the world, while there were four new US universities in the 2008 list.
US universities continued their domination in the world of global higher education by not only taking the top honours, but also 11 of the top 20 positions in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2019.
