PU awards five PhD degrees

Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars including Asma Rashid Tariq in Chemistry after approval of her thesis titled ‘Gas Separation Studies of Mixed Matrix Membranes Incorporating Lanthanide Metal-Organic FrameWorks as Fillers’, Afifa Gull in Applied Psychology after approval of her thesis titled ‘Psychosocial Predictors of Suicidal and Non-Suicidal Self Harm: An Indigenous Perspective’, Syed Shahzad Raza in the subject of Metallurgy & Materials Engineering after approval of his thesis titled ‘Development and Characterization of Nickel Base Superalloys’, Saman Riaz in Molecular Biology after approval of her thesis titled ‘Expression Studies of Modified Vip3A and ASAL Genes in Sugarcane’ and Naveed Alam in Gender Studies after approval of his thesis titled ‘Educational Gender Gap in British State Maintained Islamic Schools: Influence of Social Class, Ethnicity and Faith Identity
