PADS Annual Congress 2022 held at JSMU

Dental experts and practitioners attended the Annual Congress 2022 organized by Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences (SIOHS) and JSMU Student Council in collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Dental Students – PADS at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) to take part in the scientific sessions on dental health advancements.

Experts suggest providing platforms for policy building in the field of dentistry and exploring the challenges faced by clinicians in instituting dental awareness among the masses.

The Vice Chancellor JSMU Professor Amjad Siraj Memon expressed satisfaction that the conference holds essential provisions to educate young dentists on the challenges faced by clinicians in the field.

Principal SIOHS-JSMU Zubair A. Abbasi congratulated the organizing committee for arranging the event and said the students and fresh graduates can make optimum use of events, providing improved public awareness to patients about the prevention of dental diseases.

Registrar JSMU Dr Azam Khan, Chairperson JSMU Student Council Professor Kefi Iqbal, and Dean SIOHS-JSMU Profesor Dr Yawar Ali Abidi addressed the students at the conference and thanked the panelists and speakers for sharing insights.

The focal persons for the conference said that more than 400 dentists participated in the discussion, and poster competitions were also held for the SIOHS-JSMU students.

The event organizers included President Student Council Muhammad Ahmad, Vice President Nadia Aslam, President PADS Aleena Saleem, General Secretary JSC Balaj Hussain, Advisor JSC Subhan Siddiqui Director Venue Operations PADS Saba Rizwan.
