NCOC likely to shift winter vacations to January

ISLAMABAD: In a meeting held on Wednesday, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) discussed not to hold winter vacations in December but these vacations are likely to be shifted to January 2022.

However, all provincial representatives present in the meeting endorsed the proposal.

A meeting of the inter-provincial education minister was held on Tuesday which sent its proposal to NCOC regarding the shifting of vacations from December to January.

In a tweet on Tuesday evening, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood announced that the vacation will be held from December 25 to Jan 4.

On the other hand, the Federal Ministry of Education in a press statement said that recommendations for winter vacations suggested by all the provinces were under consideration and a “final decision will be taken at tomorrow’s (Wednesday) NCOC meeting.”
