University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore successfully organized Pakistan’s biggest engineering career counseling event “Open Day”.
Vice Chancellor UET Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar inaugurated the “Open Day” event. The event provided information regarding undergraduate programs under seven different faculties at UET main and satellite campuses, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, scholarships, and fee concessions. Students were also informed about the lab and other facilities available at the university.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar visited the information desks set up by various teaching and non-teaching departments of the university. More than seven thousand candidates along with their parents attended the event. Students showed a keen interest in knowing last year’s merit of different engineering disciplines.
Apart from teaching departments, Admission Office, Financial Aid and Career Services, Career Counseling Office and others also provided information about their respective fields to students and their parents through brochures, banners, and videos.
Considering the event’s success Vice Chancellor UET Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar appreciated the efforts of Prof Dr Asif Ali Qaiser, Registrar Muhammad Asif, Deans of all Faculties, Open Day Committee members and other administration for organizing wonderful event with excellent arrangements. Participants visited different departments, saw facilities, and applauded the excellent infrastructure and labs.
