Chairman HEC visits Iqra University

Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, Prof Dr Mukhtar Ahmed visited Iqra University, Karachi yesterday. He visited the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) and other facilities at Iqra University; and appreciated the efforts of fostering the culture of entrepreneurship & innovation. Vice-chancellor Sindh Madrassatul Islam University (SMIU) Karachi Dr Mujeebuddin Sehrai Memon was also with him.

He emphasized that industry and academic collaboration is the need of the hour. He further added that HEC will be providing financial support to the incubation centers of varsities in future; to create successful entrepreneurs for economic growth. Prof Dr Wasim Qazi, President/Vice Chancellor, welcomed the Chairman HEC and distinguished guests and thanked them for visiting Iqra University.
