Acting VC FUUAST urged students to improve skills

Acting Vice Chancellor of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Qayyum Monday advised the students to further improve their skills to groom themselves at par with the modern challenges.
Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Qayyum said this while addressing a seminar on “Career Counseling” under the Department of Chemistry here.
He said that the infrastructure of FUUAST will be improved to provide a healthy and peaceful environment to the students. Students should build self-confidence in themselves, he added.
He further said that today’s new generation is far ahead in practical and technical terms and we hope that various careers will be waiting for them.
On this occasion Chief Organizer Dr. Sajid Jahangir, Chairman Department of Chemistry Dr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Dr. Muhammad. Ali Versiani, Prof. Dr. Khalid Mohammad Khan, Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Tahiri and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zahid also addressed.
Dr. Abdul Majeed Khan said that only hard work can take the students to the stages of growth and success because hard work creates additional qualities in the person. A hardworking person is always distinguished and successful from others, he observed.
Dr Muhammad Ali Versiani said that the students of FUUAST have been successful in every field and they will not fail on the basis of their belief and knowledge.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Mohammad Khan advised the students to keep themselves organized along with punctuality to achieve remarkable success.
Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Tahiri said that the students should create such a capacity in themselves that jobs will come to them. Invent new ways to serve humanity.
