Wrestling competitions continue at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Players from Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur have reached prominent positions.
In the wrestling competitions of the Sindh Region, Muhammad Waseem of Shaheed Benazirabad (previously known as Nawabshah District) won the gold medal, Shayan Mehdi of Karachi won the silver medal and Salman of Hyderabad won the brown medal in the 57 kg weight category.
Ziaullah of Karachi won the Gold Medal, Abdul Sami of Larkana Silver Medal, and Muhammad Usman of Hyderabad Brown Medal in 61 weight categories, in the 86 kg Weight category Muhammad Sujawal of Karachi won the Gold Medal, Ishaq of Hyderabad Silver Medal, and Waqar Ahmed of Sukkur Brown Medal, in 125 kg weight category Muhammad Moosa of Larkana won the gold medal, Zafar Ali of Sukkur silver medal and Abdul Karim of Shaheed Benazirabad Brown Medal.
In competitions, Karachi Region came first, Hyderabad Region came second and Sukkur Region came third. The competition will continue on the third day and the winners of the final will be announced.
Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri, Vice Chancellor of SAU will be the special guest and Ms Afsheen Akhtar, Project Manager of Higher Education Commission (HEC) will be the guest of honor.
