UAE Ambassador visits NSTP at NUST

United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi visited the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Islamabad Campus.

The Ambassador was received by the Pro Rector for Research, Innovation and Commercialisation of NUST & Vice President of National Science and Technology Park, Dr Rizwan Riaz and Director NSTP, Dr Salman Raza Naqvi.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with high-tech companies and start-ups incubated at the NSTP including Rapidev, Learnobots, miMar, Expert Flow, Zaheen Systems, and Xylexa. He was also briefed about the Hatch8 program of NSTP which is a cohort-based program aimed at helping early-stage startups.

The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the work being done by NSTP and said that he was impressed by the level of innovation and creativity of the companies and start-ups at NSTP.

Dr Rizwan Riaz, Pro Rector RIC NUST & VP NSTP, said that the visit by the Ambassador was a testament to the growing cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan.

We are positive this visit will play its part in paving the way for future collaborations in innovation and technology between Pakistan and UAE.
