There Is No Planet B exhibition organized at Iqra University

“There Is No Planet B”, an exhibition of projects on environmental sustainability, green initiatives, and sustainable development was organized by Iqra University (IU) North campus.

Iqra University would provide a better platform for youth to show their talent of technical and scientific skills and highlight innovation along with their education and training.

IU Director Dr Syed Ali Raza during the exhibition in which students showcased their innovative projects said that our students have brought the exhibition to life by making such great projects and models to express their ideas for the people.

Students presented projects on making easy preparation of fertilizer, environmental monitoring tools, mobile apps for temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide. The interesting projects were about wastewater that can now be recycled and made usable in plants if the water is filtered and minerals are removed.

A group of students explained how to use the production of garbage and waste to make electricity, which can prevent load shedding. Another group brought their project about the transport system of the city of Karachi.

On the occasion, the director said: “I appreciate the efforts of the young people who exhibited projects about environmental improvement and hope that they will continue to make such inventions that will benefit the people in the future”
