IJT marks Teachers Day at Karachi University

Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba on Tuesday marked Teachers’ Day at the University of Karachi — which was also celebrated globally — to pay respect to the educators of the nation.

To celebrate the day, IJT distributed appreciation cards to the teachers across the university, while it had also put up banners in the varsity to show their respect. This year’s theme was “respect for the architect of the nation”.

To kick the day off, Nazim IJT (KU) Usaid Khanzada present a sheild and appreciation card to the university’s vice-chancellor, Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqui, who lauded the organisation’s efforts in this regard.

Meanwhile, during the meeting Khanzada also expressed concerns over the newly launched associate degree programs.
