BIEK announces intermediate results of pre-medical group

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Saturday announced the results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate Annual Exams 2021 Part-II of the pre-medical group.

However, the board is yet to announce the results of those candidates who were not satisfied with the results of the last year’s HSSC annual exams, and of those who appeared to improve their grades. Likewise, the results of those candidates who attempted exams in the additional subjects will be announced later.

According to BIEK Chairman, Professor Dr. Saeed Uddin said a total of 22219 candidates registered for the HSSC Pre-Medical exam. Of them, as many as 21950 candidates participated in the examinations while 20637 candidates were declared successful. The success rate of aspirants by this year remained 94.02 percent.

Around 4,686 candidates bagged A-one grade, 2795 aspirants received A-grade, 2913 students passed their exams in B-grade, 3800 pupils obtained C-grade and the rest of the students were declared successful in D and E grades.

According to the merit list, around 8 students won the top three positions. Of them, one student clinched the first position, 2 students were spotted in the second position and 5 students received the third position by getting equal marks.

Ahla Ali of the BAMMPECHS College for Women remained at the first position by getting 1059 marks out of a total of 1100 and 1059 marks. A student of the DJ Sindh Government Science College Syed Hassan Ali and a student of the BAMM PECHS Government College for Women Aqsa Abid bagged equal marks 1058 out of 1100 and secured the second position.

Sarah Imran of the Pakistan Government Degree College for Women Stadium Road, Fareeha of the same College, Ayesha Pervaiz Malik of the Government Degree Boys and Girls College SRE III Majeed Stadium Road, Bint Pervez Akhtar of the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Jawad Ishtiaq, and Alina Batool of the BAMM PECHS Government College for Women jointly secured third position obtaining same 1057 marks out of 1100.
