Bangladeshi Deputy High Commissioner visits Karachi University

The Deputy High Commissioner of the Consul General of Bangladesh, in Karachi, S M Mahbubul Haq on Thursday met the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi at the VC Secretariat to discuss the possibilities of collaboration between the University of Karachi (KU) and higher education institutions of Bangladesh.

Mahbubul Haq expressed that the University of Karachi and Bangladeshi universities can jointly work on several fields and topics. He termed that the faculty from both countries can learn from each other experiences and can transfer their knowledge to the youngsters of Bangladesh and Pakistan.

The KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi said that the University of Karachi would like to arrange webinars to promote regional peace and offer departmental basis collaboration to the deputy high commissioner Mahbubul Haq.

They also discussed the launching of joint research publications and projects besides talking about the possibility of a faculty exchange program.
